DECHON

Beverly Thomson Dechon, a retired registered nurse, passed away Tuesday, June 
29, 2010, at the age of 77.

She was the beloved wife of the late Lt. Col. John F. Dechon; mother of Stephen 
Myers (wife, Sherryl), Robert Myers and Mary Beth Burke; grandmother of Amy 
Lynne Weaver; daughter of the late Irene Sondrol Thomson and James M. Thomson 
and sister of the late Barbara Garass. She is also survived by her two Boston 
Terriers, Riley and Molly.

She was a native of Turtle Lake, N.D., and received her nursing degree in Grand 
Forks, N.D., and retired from East Jefferson General Hospital.

At her request, all services were private. In lieu of flowers, the family would 
prefer donations in memory of Mrs. Dechon and Amy Lynne Weaver to the St. 
Tammany Humane Society. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
