Ross James LeSaicherre Sr., 79 years old of Ponchatoula, died Saturday, July 10, 
2010, at his residence. He was born May 2, 1931, in Ponchatoula, son of the late 
Frank and Julia Wilson LeSaicherre.

Surviving are his daughters, Jeannine Gandy, Julie Welch and son-in-law Jon 
Welch; daughter-in-law, Mary LeSaicherre; eight grandchildren, three great-
grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralf and Sis LeSaicherre, Frank and 
Neva LeSaicherre; sister and brother-in-law, June and Oscar Saint; and his 
beloved dog, Maximillion LeSaicherre.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ross James LeSaicherre Jr., and son-in-law, 
James Owen Gandy.

A Mass of Christian burial was held yesterday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Joseph Hospice, 8923 Bluebonnet 
Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
