He was born Jan. 13, 1952, in Hammond to Cultus and Frances Pearson. During high school, Zeb achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Slidell High School in 1970. In 1976, he graduated cum laude from Baylor University Law School with a Juris Doctorate. In 1980, he graduated from Southern Methodist University with a LL.M in taxation. For the past 30 years, Zeb worked as an attorney with Bonney and Bonney in Dallas, and Bob Bowland in Forth Worth, Texas. In honor of his father's military service, Zeb recently wrote and copyrighted a song titled "Zebelian" and dedicated it to his father. Zeb is survived by his parents; wife of 29 years, Diane Pearson; son, Matthew Pearson; daughters, Rachel and Kelsey Pearson; grandsons, Mark and Andrew Pearson; brothers, William, Edwin, Kurt, C.O. and Gerard; sisters, Anita Ryan, Candace McNeill and Quinn Pearson; mother-in-law, Joan Zavidny and brothers-in- lawMichael and Dennis Zavidny. Funeral services were held June 21 at Scofield Christian Church in Dallas. Zeb attempted to donate his organs to Southwest Transplant Alliance. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Medical City Dallas ER staff and the loving care of Dr. Lise Labiche and her neurosurgical ICU staff.
