TAYLOR

On Thursday, July 8, 2010, Charles Oliver Taylor, 77, of Pearl River, went home 
to be with the Lord. 

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Taylor; and a daughter, Kimberly Ann 
Peterson. He is also survived by a sister, Lucille McCurdy; sister-in-law, 
Stella Jones; three grandchildren, Eddie Peterson Jr., Jeremy and Steve Peterson 
(Laura); and four great-grandchildren, Bryce, Clint, Tyler and Danielle 
Peterson.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Taylor and Lille Mae Hathorne; a 
son, Shannon Harper Taylor; and a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Taylor; and a 
brother, Dewey Taylor.

He was a deacon at First Baptist Church of Pearl River and a charter member of 
the Masonic Lodge 456. He also served on the Benevolence Committee at First 
Baptist Church of Pearl River. He worked at B&G Crain Service as well as Kelly 
Generes Construction Co. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church of Pearl River.  Interment to 
follow at Austin Cemetery.
