ANDERSON, DALE JAY 
(August 6, 1923 - September 16, 2010)

DALE J. "ANDY" ANDERSON, 87, of Pearl River, LA, passed away on Monday, August 
16, 2010, at Oschner Northshore Hospital in Slidell.

Beloved Husband of Paddie R. Anderson; Father of the late Gregory Dale Anderson 
and the late Marsha A. Walker; Son of the late: Hal and Edith Anderson.
Also survived by a granddaughter: Darcey Walker Krause, and a great-
granddaughter: Anderson DeLayne Krause. 

He was preceded in death by a brother: Donald H. Anderson, and a sister: Lenore 
Dawson.

Mr. Anderson was born in Morrilton, Arkansas, and had been a resident of Pearl 
River, Louisiana since 1978. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran of World 
War II, and had retired from Shell Pipeline. 

Mr. Anderson was a member of the Christian Church of Slidell.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Funeral 
Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST 
LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 12:00 P.M.

Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Greta, Lousiana.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00am until service 
time.

Donations to: Christian Church of Slidell, 57030 Allen Road, Slidell LA 70461 
preferred, in lieu of flowers.
