Edmond "Eddie" Thomas Barras, Jr., 47, was taken from this Earth and those who 
love him on Thursday, August 19, 2010. 

Left to celebrate his life is his son, Adam A. Barras, his parents, Paulette 
Ketry Barras and Edmond T. Barras, Sr., and his sister, Pamela A. Barras, 
Grandson of Nancy G. Ketry and the late John M. Ketry, Therese Yenni Barras and 
Lee J. Barras. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Eddie spent his childhood in St. Bernard and had a residence in Slidell, LA. He 
did electrical work, but could fix anything. When his parents were left with an 
unfinished home, Eddie worked tirelessly to finish their home and a place to 
remember him by. Eddie found his faith and believed strongly in God and His Son, 
Jesus Christ. Eddie loved the water, boats and fishing, but his greatest love 
was his son, Adam.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of 
Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Saturday, 
August 28, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Visitation from 11:30 am until service time.

Masses preferred.
