WILLIAM "BILL" ANTOINE BERCKES, of Slidell, LA on Saturday, August 28, 2010.

Beloved Husband of the late Edrene Downs Berckes. Father of Alicia Berckes 
Coates(Darren) and Christian Berckes. Brother of Robert Berckes. Also survived 
by three grandchildren, Archer and Porter Coates and Isaac Berckes.

Age 77 years.

A native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Slidell. He retired from St. 
Tammany Parish Roads and Bridges Department where he was a draftsman and worked 
at J. V. Burkes for many years. He was a longtime active member of First United 
Methodist Church of Slidell.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Services 
at First United Methodist Church, 433 Erlanger St., Slidell, LA on Friday, 
September 3, 2010 at 12:00 O'clock Noon.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation at the Church on Friday after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Donations to First United Methodist Preschool, preferred, in lieu of flowers.
