Louis Richard Jenkins passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2010.

Beloved husband of 58 years to Udine Stafford Jenkins; loving father to Sharon 
J. Dupuy (Jessie, Sr.) and Patricia J. Reffner (Paul); grandfather to Kelly 
Dupuy Davis, Jessie Dupuy, Jr. and Stephen Reffner; great-grandfather to Brennan 
Simoneaux and Hunter Davis; and brother to Harold Jenkins and Virginia Windom. 
He was preceded in death by his mother, Molly Cowart Jenkins; and his father, 
Lawrence S. Jenkins.

Age 83 years, he was a native of Bogalusa, LA and a resident of Ponchatoula, LA 
for the past 28 years. He was a mechanic at Regional Transit Authority in New 
Orleans.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding 
Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.

Visitation on Tuesday will be from 10:00 AM until service time.

Interment will follow at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery on Firetower Road in 
Ponchatoula, LA.
