Violet Revere Jenkins passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010 at the age of 87.

Beloved wife of the late Allen Jenkins. Loving mother of Brenda Cuevas (Thomas), 
Arlen Jenkins (Gayle), Kenneth Jenkins (Rosemary) and Patricia Jenkins. Daughter 
of the late Elsie and Louis T. Revere. Sister of Larry Revere, Roland Revere, 
Addie Breland, Arthemise Willis, Sylvia Michel and the late Virginia Wilson and 
Nina Revere. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 2 
great great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Collins Blvd. Baptist Church, a lifelong resident of Bush, 
LA and retired nurse for the late Dr. Henry Daigle.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on 
Monday, August 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral 
Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Sunday from 
5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Revere Cemetery.
