KOGEL, GOTTLIEB "PROFESSOR" 
(April 15, 1917 - August 26, 2010)

In Memory of "Professor" GOTTLIEB KOGEL, long standing resident of Slidell, LA 
and Proprietor of Indian Hills Nudist Campgrounds along with his late wife, Dora 
Ann Kogel for the past 39 years. 

Professor passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the age of 93. 

He is preceded in death by his wife and parents. 

Survivors include his sister, Mrs. Charlotte Freese; his long standing 
companion, Keala Dourrieu, and Mrs. Charlotte Freese's nephew, John Freese. 

He will be missed by his family, his many friends, care givers, employees, 
residents at Indian Hills and many daily guest visitors to the campgrounds. 

Professor was a member for approximately 60 years of the S.A.M. & I.B.M. 
Magician Fraternity, Shriner's, Masonic Freemasons (Mother Lodge #373 and Lodge 
#311 in Slidell). He was also a member of the Lakeshore Chapter #59 of the 
Eastern Star, Slidell, LA since April 12, 2005. 

The ceremony will include a viewing at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. 
WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 
10:00am until 1:00pm. From 12:15pm until 1:00pm, there will be three short 
ceremonies lasting approximately 15 minuets each from members of the Masonic 
Lodge #311, Eastern Star Lodge #59 and S.A.M. & I.B.M. Magicians called "The 
Breaking of the Wand". 

A mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00pm. 

Interment will be private at a later date. As professor always said, "PRAISE THE 
LORD".
