LOPEZ

Raymond P. "Pete" Lopez Jr. passed away Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, in Phoenix.

Pete was the son of the late Raymond P. Lopez, Sr. and Yvonne S. Lopez. He was 
the father of Adam B. Lopez, Alex S. Lopez and Andrew E. Lopez; grandfather of 
Madeleine E. Lopez; brother of Jewel A. "Judy" Lopez and Ricardo S. "Rick" 
Lopez.

He grew up in Covington and worked for the Louisiana Department of Labor for 33 
years. Pete requested that no formal funeral service be held. In lieu of that, 
he wanted his family and friends to come together in celebration. There will be 
a gathering tomorrow at the Baton Rouge Marriott, 5000 Hilton Ave.

The family will gather at 2 p.m., and friends are invited to join the 
celebration at 4 p.m.

The family requests no flowers, but to make donations to Russell Rescue Inc, or 
an animal rescue group of your choice.
