NEWMAN

June DuBois Newman, 69, a native of New Orleans and resident of Pearl River for 
more than 30 years, passed away. June was a graduate of Warren Easton High 
School and a parishoner at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Pearl River.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy DuBois and Sadie Sarver DuBois; 
her husband, Herman Newman Jr.; and sons, Eric Paul Newman and Steven Charles 
Newman.

She is survived by her brother and sister, Larry (Vicky) DuBois of Pearl River 
and Catherine (Derry) Sharp of Covington. She will be sadly missed by her 
numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Funeral services were held yesterday at Williams Funeral Home, Pearl River. 
Interment was in Hickory Memorial Gardens, located at Williams Funeral Home, 
with the Rev. Tom McCann officiating.
