Harold Pittman passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the age of 81. 

Harold was born in Isabel, LA, he was a longtime resident of Jackson, MS and 
resided in Covington, LA for the past 18 years. 

Beloved husband of Eloise S. Pittman and the late Joyce James Pittman by first 
marriage. Father of Jammie Pittman and Johnny Ray Pittman, both of Jackson, MS. 
Son of the late Edna Morgan Pittman and Murphy Pittman. Brother of Jerry Pittman 
and the late Shirley Brooks, Deman Pittman, Pete Pittman, Ronnie Pittman, and 
Charles Pittman. Stepfather of Roger Nelson and Gregory Nelson. Also survived by 
4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, 4 step 
grandchildren, and 1 step great-grandson.

Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and is a Veteran of the 
Korean War. He worked for Delta Motor Lines in Jackson, MS before starting his 
own diesel mechanic business servicing "big rigs" for ABF Freight System, Inc., 
Carolina Freight Co., and McLean Trucking.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service at Lakewood Memorial 
Park Cemetery, 430 McCluer Road, Jackson, Mississippi 39212 on Saturday, August 
7, 2010 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son 
Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Friday, August 6, 2010 from 
6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
