VIRGINIA HOUSTON BANNON, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Sunday, 
September 26, 2010. 

Virginia was born May 9, 1919 in East Texas and grew up in Shreveport. 
Thereafter she resided in New Orleans and Slidell.

She was prededed in death by her husband of 63 years, Edward C. Bannon, Jr. She 
is the mother of Michael(Sharron), David(Jamie) and Stephen(Phyllis), 
grandmother of Greg Bannon, Stacy Silvas, JoAnna Bannon and Brandy Bannon.
Daughter of the late Robert Houston and Leah Buchanan. Sister of Leah Campbell, 
Bobbie Webre, the late Rosemary McNeill and Margie Mitchell. 

She was lovingly cared for by JoAnn Faciene and Nanette Williams for the past 
three years at JoAnn's Golden Girls. Many thanks also to Hospice Care of 
Louisiana.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment in Lakelawn Mausoleum.

Visitation on Wednesday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Masses preferred..
