BARNES, THYRA JUNE 
(October 18, 1938 - September 5, 2010)

THYRA GLOVER BARNES, a longtime resident of Slidell, LA, and a resident of 
Biloxi, MS for the past ten years, went to be with her Heavenly Father on 
Sunday, September 5, 2010, in Biloxi, MS.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years: Roscoe Barnes; two children: 
Kimberly Castoe (husband Mark Castoe), and Kendra Hultz (husband Richard 
Simmons); two sisters: Willie G. Talley, and Gloria LeBlanc; and four 
grandchildren: Andrew Brockway, Hauer Hultz, Waverley Hultz, and Devon Castoe. 
She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Grace Truman Glover; two 
sisters: Sybil Talley, and Eunice Badon; and one brother: George Glover. 

Mrs. Barnes was a member of the Eastern Star, Chapter 59, of Slidell.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Funeral 
services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST 
LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. Interment 
will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00am until service time.
