He was the beloved husband of Delores Riley Black; father of Joynce Marie (Ronnie) Ducre, Pamela Yvette (Harold) Woods of Slidell, Cornelia Jean (Anthony) Foster of Lacombe and Kimberly Michell Blacc of Atlanta, Ga.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Leonard, Myra Gooden, both of St. Louis, Mo., and Virginia Harrison of Huntsville, Ala.; three brothers, James W. Black of Alexander City, Ala., St. Matthew Black of Youngstown, Ohio, and Robert Black of St. Louis, Mo. He was preceded in death by four brothers, John Rufus, A. J. (Jack), Henry Clay and Benjamin Franklin Black. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, offers and members of the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, employees of Kenney Hombuilders, Inc., Live Oak Assistant Living, Southeast Hospital of Mandeville, Harold's Hauling, Clark Atlanta University of Atlanta, Darain Missionary Baptist Church, Alexandria City, and all neighborhing churches are invited to attend the services at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Mount Olive A.M.E. Church in Slidell, with the Rev. Norman J. Farve officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Entombment will be at the Slidell Memorial Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Doyle's Funeral Home, 2430 Fourth St., Slidell. ===================
