Silas Collins, a longtime resident of Lacombe, passed away Friday Sept. 10, 
2010. 

He is survived by his children Patricia Ray, Douglas Terry, Jerry Lynn and Danny 
Collins; sisters, Leola, Viola and Romona and brothers, James Jr., Lee and 
Marshall. 

He was preceded in death by his parents James Collins Sr. and Irene Crawford 
Collins.

The funeral services were held Friday at Doyle's Funeral Home in Slidell. 
Interment was in Brookter and Alfred Cemetery.
