Inez Fields, 92, a resident of Bogalusa, departed this life Monday Sept. 20, 
2010, at the LSU Bogalusa Medical Center. 

She is survived by four daughters, Betty Jean Fields, Alicia Mae (Joel) Lewis, 
both of Bogalusa, Eleanor Kim, Steven Banks of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Velma Renel 
(Blaine Meredith of Baton Rouge; four sons, Arcel Fields, Robert Lionel (Cora) 
Fields of Bogalusa, Joe Nathan Fields of Dallas, Texas; sister Mrs. Louvenia 
Nathaniel Gage of Houston; 23 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; 14 great-
great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fields; three children, Marcel 
Fields, Barbara Ann Fields and Mary Louise Fields Foster; her parents, Jabus L. 
and Ella Brown Nathaniel; seven sisters, Tennessee Bearden, Tempie Williams, 
Edwina Holmes, Beulah Williams, Irene Henry, Jerry Ann Manning and Velma Bennett 
and three brothers, Samual Nathaniel, Ephriam Nathaniel and John Nathaniel.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Greater Salter Chapel 
A.M.E. Church in Bogalusa with the Rev. Sylvester Marshall officiating. 
Visitation will be from 2 - 7 p.m. Friday at the Cook-Richmond Funeral Home. 
Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery. 

Cook-Richmond Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
