Edward David Frederick, Sr. passed away on September 21, 2010. He was born March 
31, 1947 to the late James Bernard, Sr. and Catherine Doran Frederick and has 
been a life resident of the Covington/Folsom area.

The beloved husband of Sandra Rogers Frederick, he is survived by two daughters, 
Melissa Frederick Babin (Stephen) and Karen Frederick Gilbert (John); one son, 
Edward D. Frederick, Jr. (Kerri); one sister, Mary Katherine Frederick Blust; 
his brother, James B. Frederick, Jr. and seven grandchildren: Michael, Adam and 
Samuel Babin, Camdyn and Miles Gilbert, Caroline and Greyson Frederick.

Eddie was a proud graduate of St. Paul's School in Covington and Southeastern 
University in Hammond. He worked in banking and finance in St. Tammany Parish 
for over 30 years. 

As a dedicated parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at St. John the Baptist 
Catholic Church in Folsom, he served on the Parish Council and numerous 
committees. He was also a member of the Mandeville Rotary Club and The West St. 
Tammany Chamber of Commerce.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
12:00 Noon on Friday, September 24, 2010 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 
19th Ave., Covington, LA 70433.

A wake is scheduled for Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 6-9:00 PM at E.J. 
Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin at St. Peter's Friday at 10:00 AM.

Interment at the First Baptist Church of Folsom Cemetery will immediately follow 
mass.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research 
Hospital or to the Louisiana Special Olympics.
