EDWARD "TONY" HERRING, of Slidell, LA, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, 
September 30, 2010 at the age of 71. 

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Helen Rachal Herring, two daughters, 
Terrie Whitehead, Tina Herring, and his grandson,Scott Whitehead. He was a 
loving husband, father and a devoted grandfather. He is also survived by his 
sister, Carol Colvin as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Tony was in the Marines for four years.

He was the owner of Tony Herring & Associates since 1984. He was an active 
member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Slidell. Tony loved his family and will 
be missed by many.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services 
at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester Blvd., Slidell, LA on 
Monday, October 4, 2010 at 12:00 O'clock noon

Interment in St. Peter's Catholic Church Cemetery, Bordelonville, La.

Visitation at the church on Monday morning after 10:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Donations to the American Heart Association, preferred, in lieu of flowers.
