John was born November 20, 1953 to Camille Ashley LeBlanc and the late David E. LeBlanc. He was a resident of Mandeville, formerly of Metairie, Louisiana and Memphis, Tennessee. He was the loving husband of Madeline Mary Treuting LeBlanc and loving father of Ashley Michelle, Melissa Lauren and Michael Raymond. He was the son-in-law of Edna Treuting and the late August Raymond Treuting. He was the brother of David (D.J.), Larry and Anne LeBlanc. He was the brother-in-law of Dale LeBlanc, Diane LeBlanc, Keith Treuting (Mignon), Karen T. Stein, Jaime Gonzales (Dave). He was the uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. John attended East Jefferson High School where he developed a love of baseball. He moved on to Tulane University where he excelled at baseball and his studies. He earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from Tulane. He was employed by Anheuser Busch, Morgan Keegan and recently retired from Johnson Rice where he was a partner and an institutional stockbroker. He was very active in many social and religious organizations. He has been a long time supporter of Alumni and in particular Tulane baseball. He served on the financial committee at St. Peter Catholic Church and was an active member of Regnum Christi, a lay movement in the Catholic Church. John's integrity in the financial marketplace as well as his humility, kindness and consideration of others were the hallmarks of his life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 21st Avenue, Covington, LA. A funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte St., Mandeville, LA, with visitation at church from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Internment will take place at St. Joseph Abbey immediately following Mass. Donations can be made to Star of the Sea or to Tulane Athletic Fund in memory of John F. LeBlanc. ===================
