Beloved husband of Kay Greeley LeGros; loving father of H Leighton LeGros, Jr., Shannon Magruder, Leslie LeGros, Lynne Lawrence, Ashley Trimble, Allison LeGros and Matthew LeGros; father-in-law of Logan Magruder, Porter Trimble and Michelle LeGros; grandfather of Tyler Lawrence, Agustin, Carson and Grayson Magruder, Porter, Audrey and Camille Trimble, and Payton, Alec and Leighton LeGros; and brother to Gary LeGros. Lee was born November 26, 1926 to Horatio "Bud" LeGros and Ruth Gearhart LeGros. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Dixon LeGros. Lee was a United States Army veteran who served his country in World War II. After returning home he attended and graduated from Notre Dame and Loyola University in New Orleans. He raised his family in Covington, LA and worked in the Stocks and Bonds business in New Orleans for 38 years. He started his long, successful career in the brokerage business in early 1957 and retired in 1993 as a Senior Vice-President with Shearson Lehman Hutton. For the past 18 years he and Kay have lived in Horseshoe Bay, TX, a lovely part of the Texas Hill Country. Lee was a devoted husband and father and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Special thanks to Lakeshore Hospice for the wonderful care and kindness given to Lee and the family during his illness. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to Celebrate the Mass of Christian Buiral at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Chapel, 2260 West 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Visitation on Wednesday will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Christ-Yoder Animal Shelter/Adoption Center. ===================
