VEAZEY

Lorraine Mary Veazey, age 77, of Pearl River, passed away Friday, Sept. 3, 2010. 

She was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Slidell. She was a loving wife, 
mother and homemaker and will be truly missed.

She is survived by her husband Carl Veazey, Sr., and his six children: Barbara 
Coci (Fred), Diane Veazey, Sharon May (Glen), Carl Veazey, Jr., Deborah Field 
(Dave) and Daniel Veazey (Marie). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 
20 great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Veazey; her parents, seven 
siblings, and one grandchild, Jason Veazey and one great-grandchild, Madison 
Yvonne Roberson.

Funeral was held Monday, at First Pentecostal Church, 388 Robert Boulevard, 
Slidell. Interment was in Hickory Memorial Gardens, Pearl River, with the Rev. 
Donald Bryan to be officiating.
