Betty Depew Whitaker passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010.

Beloved wife of the late David C. Whitaker, Jr. Mother of the late Cynthia 
Whitaker Spath Logan. Daughter of the late Levi Depew and Bertha Henson Depew 
Miller. Grandmother of Zachary B. "Beau" Spath (Holly) and C. Colby Spath. 
Great-grandmother of Ivan and Owen Spath. Sister of Raymond Miller (Bonnie) and 
Maggie Eustis (Pat). Niece of Aunt Billie Henson Viar. Aunt of Sylvia Whitaker 
Logan (Tom) and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Age 80 years. A native of Stanton, TN and a resident of Covington, LA for the 
past 6 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service 
at First Baptist Church of Covington, 16333 Hwy 1085, Covington, LA 70433 at 
11:00 AM on Thursday, September 16, 2010. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, from 10:00 
AM until service time.

A private interment will take place in Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the American Cancer 
Society, 2605 River Rd., New Orleans, LA 70121.
