Bettye Dillon Beall passed away on Friday, October 22, 2010. She was born in 
Lake Charles, LA on July 3, 1931 to the late Jim E., Sr. and Myrle Leaman 
Dillon.

Her devotion to her husband and family took her across the known world many 
times throughout her lifetime, living for short periods in places from London, 
England to Jakarta, Indonesia. They always came back to Covington. A dedicated 
member of the First Baptist Church of Covington for over 40 years, she was a 
woman of faith with an adventurous spirit and truly believed in the power of 
prayer. She volunteered her time to many causes in her community and enjoyed her 
time with various civic organizations.

The wife of the late Edward Woodson Beall for 52 years, she is survived by one 
daughter, Rebecca Beall Fielding (Edward J. III) of Covington; her son, Donald 
Edward Beall of Gulf Breeze, FL; one sister, Bonnie Dillon Morris (Walter) of 
Baton Rouge, LA; three grandsons: Robert E., Reginald J. and Benjamin B. 
Fielding and five great-granddaughters: Emily, Caroline, Brooke, Margaret and 
Elinor. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Jim E., Jr. 
and Elsie Turnage Dillon.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 
2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 
21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Tuesday at Noon.

Interment will immediately follow services at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in 
Covington, LA.
