Mildred Rose Sylve Eden departed this life Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at St. 
Francis Hospital in Columbus, Ga. 

Mrs. Eden was 62 years old. 

She was survived by her husband, Wilken P. Eden; mother Jeanette Rita Pichon 
Sylve; four brothers, Raymond Sylve, Charles Sylve (Corinne) of Lacombe, Merlin 
Sylve, and Michael Sylve; four sisters, Mary Ann Sylve, Margaret Booth, Cynthia 
Tott, and Iris Scott (Levi) all of Slidell; her loving children Cassandra 
Robinson Hart of Slidell, Chief Petty Officer Stephen Robinson (Shareka) of 
Kenosha, Wis., and Chief Petty Officer Michael Robinson, Jr. (Jewel) of Slidell 
and stepchildren, Dieszie Meertens of Pasco, Wash., Dana Eden-Phillips (Marc) of 
Indianapolis, Ind., and Nicholas Eden of Atlanta, Ga.; Ashley Robinson, one of 
11 grandchildren whom she reared and four great-grandchildren and a host of 
nieces and nephews and eight godchildren.

Services will be held 11 a.m. tomorrow at Hartzell Mt. Zion United Methodist 
Church, 41040 Highway 190 East, Slidell. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until service 
time. Interment is in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell.
