She was preceded in death by her parents Bernard Comenge and Jeanne M. Comenge. The beloved wife of Frank X. Gillio, Jr., she is survived by two sons, Craig and Rene Cox; her loving brother, Bernard F. Comenge (Lucie Ann); her step daughter Karen Villavaso & step son Larry (Carol) Gillio; nephews Ben & Brian (Kristy) Comenge and niece Andrea (Dan) Durey. Jeanne was a past Queen of the Krewe of KC's and a member of the Covington Kaycettes. She was also a devoted parishioner of St. Peters Catholic Church in Covington and St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Metairie, La. In the 1970's, she owned and operated "The Hand of Hospitality": welcoming many newcomers to Covington. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours will begin Tuesday at 12:00 Noon. Interment at Garden of the Pines Cemetery in Covington will immediately follow mass. ===================
