Beloved husband of 58 years to Rose Ellen Leigh Haeuser; loving father to Frederick Richard Haeuser, III (Sonya), Robert Leigh Haeuser (Jamie), David Hanceford Haeuser (Edie), Pamela Ellen Haeuser Keller (Mike) and through God's Grace, John Gerard Shwartz (Kathy); loving grandfather to Hance, Katy, Ford, Jourdan, Clare, David, Kristen and Ian; and loving great-grandfather of Adalai. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Rebentish Rozes Haeuser; his father, Frederick Richard Haeuser, Sr.; and two sisters, Carolyn H. Wood and Elizabeth H. Herndon. Age 84 years, he was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 5 years. He was former president of Haeuser Insurance Agency in New Orleans; a 32nd Degree Mason; past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Greater New Orleans; past president of the Greater New Orleans unit of Wally BYAM Caravan Club; and a loving and active member of the Covington Presbyterian Church. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 7, 2010. Visitation on Thursday will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens following the services. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the Susan G.
