Asako Betty Harrison, 78, passed away Aug. 8, 2010, in Sukuoko, Japan. 

She was the wife of 53 years to Calvin Lionel Harrison and the mother Diane 
Kyoko Harrison. She is survived by brothers-in-law Thomas Harrison (Ruth) and 
Solomon Harrison (Florel); sisters-in-law, Vera Bell, Dorothy Harrion, Sally 
Harrison, Margie Harrison, and Geraldine Ducksworth. She is also survived by 
three granddaughters, one grandson and one great-great-grandson.

She and her husband lived in Slidell from 1960 to 1995. She was a very loving 
and sweet lady that loved life and people and will be missed by many.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Hartzell Mt. Zion United Methodist 
Church, 544 Brakefield St., Slidell.
