HOWARD, MARIE ADELE SINGLETARY COOK 
(February 26, 1945 - October 14, 2010)

MARIE ADELE SINGLETARY COOK HOWARD, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, 
October 14, 2010 at Ochsner Hospital in Jefferson, LA.

Beloved wife of Joe A. Howard by second marriage and the late J.D. Cook, Sr. by 
first marriage. Mother of John David Cook, Jr. (Sandra) and Dara Lynne Cook.
Daughter of the late Jedward and Minerva Singletary. Sister of Vivian Dubission, 
Carol Stephany, Candy Sitzman, Donna Scholes, Lulu O'Daniel and the late Zada 
Brocato.

Also survived by 5 grandchildren; Amanda Marie, Sandra, Scott, Brandon and Riley 
Nicole and many nieces and nephews.

Age 65 years; a lifelong resident of Slidell, LA. Marie was a graduate of 
Slidell High School and was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary 
Post 374 in Slidell, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 4:00pm. Visitation will be from
