KAHL

Joy Jeanette Kahl age 59 of Slidell, passed away Sunday October 10, 2010. 

She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all. 

She is survived by her husband Sanford Kahl, three children Teresa Stewart 
(James), James Crawford (Cheryl), and Curtis Crawford (Christina), and five step 
children Anita Kahl Crowe, Marie Kahl Mitchell, Bridget Kahl, Sanford Kahl III, 
and Villery Kennedy. Mrs. Joy is also survived by her brother Elvin Scott 
(Deborah); her nephew Eric Scott; two nieces Amanda and Sarah Schmolke; nine 
grandchildren; Christopher, Shanel, Audriana, Nathan, Brendan, Miranda, Amber, 
Tiffany, and Stephanie; seven step-grandchildren Angie, Kayla, Bree, Savanna, 
Skyla, Toney, and DJ, and five step-great-grandchildren Bethaney, Katelyn, 
Madison, Makenzie, and Landen.

Mrs. Joy is preceded in death by her parents Elvin and Mary Scott and her sister 
Sherry Schmolke.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Abundant Life Church, 
40295 Crowes Landing Rd., Pearl River, with Brother Rogers officiating. Williams 
Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy 41, Pearl River in charge of arrangements.
