Roland Peter Lachney passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the age of 71. 

A native of Marksville, LA and a resident of Bush, LA. 

Husband of the late Terry Voorhies Lachney. Father of Rhonda Sikes, Roxane 
Roberts, Randy Lachney, and Kelly Lachney. Son of the late Maude Villemarette 
and Louis Lachney, Sr. Brother of Audrey Bordelon, Jeanette Hawkins, Sadie 
Durrand, Dina Carmouch, Hersey Lachney, Louis Lachney, Jr., and the late Maxie 
and Nolan Lachney. Grandfather of Matthew Sikes, Drew Roberts, Shane Sikes, 
Kayla Roberts, and John Michael Lachney. Great grandfather of Devin Stark and 
Briahna Roberts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of 
Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Thursday, 
October 7, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Visitation from 11:00 am until service time. 
Interment will follow in Barker McManus Cemetery.

Marksville, LA Funeral Services will be held at Rose Neath Funeral Home, 334 
Acton Rd, Marksville, LA 71351 on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 7:30 pm. 
Visitation from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
