Beloved Husband of: Eloise Colmer Lout. Father of: Robin Lout Strahan (Joey), Marland Lout (Linda). Son of the late: Willie P. and Vada Collins Lout. Brother of: David Lout, Charlsie L. O'Neal, Also survived by 3 grandchildren: Nicholas Lout, Joel Strahan and Sydney Strahan. Age: 70 years. A native of Center, TX and long time resident of Slidell. Mr. Lout retired as a Department Store Manager, after 30 years for Beall-Ladymon. Upon his retirement from Beall's he went to work as a Sales Representative for Langenberg and Bailey Hat Co. He was a school bus aid for St. Tammany Parish School Board for 5 years. He attended Panola University in Carthage, TX. Former President of the Slidell Chamber of Commerce and Slidell Rotary Club, also Recipient of the "Phil Harris Award". Charter member of the Slidell Elks Lodge No. 2321 B.P.O.E., Krewe de la Boutte Dominique for 35 years serving as King and President in 1980-1981, Slidell Civil Service Board, and numerous other community services and charities. He was an avid Louisiana Sportsman. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Gary Collins, officiating. Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY. Visitation on Wednesday after 12:00 P.M. until funeral time.
