James Edward "Jim" McDevitt passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010.

Beloved husband to Tami Lamy-McDevitt; loving father of Caitlin Marie McDevitt, 
Bailey Bridget McDevitt and Brendan Gerard McDevitt; brother to Barbara Colucci, 
Robert McDevitt and Michael McDevitt; son-in-law of Marie Mustacchia Lamy; 
brother in law to Ed and Kitty Nagem, John and Mary Beth Ferguson, Blake and 
Patty Kumen, Bobby and Amy Lamy, Therese Pansano and Karen McDevitt; and also 
survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Esther Bridget Rowan McDevitt; his 
father, Joseph James McDevitt; and his father-in-law, Gerard Lamy.

Age 60 years, he was a native of Boston, MA and a resident of St. Tammany Parish 
for the past 10 years. He was a Boat Captain with Madcon Corporation.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on 
Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding 
Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.

Visitation on Thursday will begin at 10:00 AM.
