MOTTINGER, DON D., SR.
(Died October 16, 2010)

Don D. Mottinger, Sr., lovingly known as "Colonel", passed away on Saturday, 
October 16, 2010 at the age of 90.

Beloved husband of Elsie Mottinger. Loving father of Don D Mottinger, Jr. of 
Slidell, Leslie Jarrell of Folsom, Lloyd Lay of Natchitoches and Richard Lay of 
Slidell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a 
host of nieces and nephews.

Don was a World War II veteran and a retired Chief Warrant Officer. Since his 
retirement, he's enjoyed working at the American Legion where he made many 
friends. Don had a zest for life and enjoyed fishing and his farm in Folsom. He 
will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on 
Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of E.J. FIELDING FUNERAL 
HOME, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Saturday 
beginning at 9:00 AM.

Interment will be in Metairie Cemetery.
