Marie Louise Spoerri Preble passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010. Beloved 
wife of the late Warren G. Preble.

Loving mother of Warren R. Preble and John F. Preble. Grandmother of Andrew and 
William Preble. Daughter of the late Leonard Otto Spoerri and Louise Adele 
Muehlemann. Sister of the late Rudolf, Felix and Otto Spoerri. Mother-in-law of 
the late Ann O'Brien and Lillian Orta.

Age 96 years. A native of Basel, Switzerland and a resident of St. Bernard and 
St. Tammany Parishes. She was a member and past president of the St. Bernard 
Retired Teacher's Assn.; St. Tammany Retired Teacher's Assn. and District III 
President. She served as Assistant State Director for the National Retired 
Teacher's Assn. and received numerous academic awards. She served as AARP State 
Director for 4 years.

Relatives, friends of the family and members of Faith Presbyterian Church are 
invited to attend the memorial service from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 
2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 18, 2010.

Visitation will begin Monday at 10:00 AM.

Interment in Abita Springs Cemetery will take place at 12:00 Noon.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Lillian Orta for the 
compassionate and devoted care given to Mrs. Preble over the past four years.
