MAMIE BERNDT SALLES, age 91 years, passed away quietly at home with her loving 
family at her side, on Monday, October 18, 2010. 

She was born and resided in New Orleans, La. for 86 years until "Katrina" 
relocated her to Slidell, La.

Beloved Wife of the late Clodius (Sugs) Heyl Salles. Mother of Clodius Heyl 
Salles,Jr.(Debbie) and Rodney Robert Salles(Diane)

Preceded in death by her parents, Gustav Adolf Berndt and Rosa Vaughn Berndt, 
her siblings, Gus, Walter, Louis, Edward, Rosie, Lucille, Laura and a grandson, 
Ryan Salles.

Also survived by 8 darling grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great great 
grandchild and many nieces, nephews, wonderful friends and some enemies.

She was a member of the Village Lutheran Church in Lacombe, La. The family 
wishes to thank Hospice Compassus for their compassionate care of the past few 
months.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 7:00 P.M.

Visitation on Friday afternoon from 3:00 P.M. until funeral time.
