Gasper Phillip Smith, Jr. (Bubba), age 70, passed away at his home surrounded by 
family on Thursday, October 21, 2010. 

Beloved husband of 50 years to Dorothy Dyer. Devoted father of Ronnie, Dennis 
and Mark Smith, Cindy Timphony, Donna Damare' and Lisa Cresson. He is survived 
by one sister, Janet Schaller, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He was a 
loving grandfather to 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Esperance Reavis and Gasper P. Smith, Sr. His 
brother, Raymond Smith and sister, Aline Sonier. 

Those who knew him will remember him for his loyalty to family and friends, his 
love of fishing, nature and history and for his greatest joy, his grandchildren. 
A native of New Orleans, and resident of Lacombe, La for the past 24 years. 
Proprietor of A and B Sign Company.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration Honoring 
Bubba's life at his home on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 12:00 noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Slidell Memorial Hospital 
Foundation or Memorial Hospice and Palliative Care
