Ray Russell Taylor passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the age of 80.

Beloved husband of the late Jennie Lee Hood Taylor. Father of Scott Taylor and 
the late Donna Rae Taylor Quave. Son of the late Alphasine and David Taylor. 
Brother of the late Roy Taylor, Emri Taylor, Pat Taylor, Norman Taylor, Eleanor 
Taylor Passman, Rachael Taylor Galloway and Ethel Taylor McLain. Grandfather of 
Brooke Quave Manint and Brette Quave Harrison. Great-grandfather of Carrson, 
Joshua and Lana Manint and Bryce, Elijah and Gabriel Harrison.

Ray was a longtime resident of Covington where he worked as a barber for over 50 
years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Covington Masonic Lodge 188 
F&AM.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on 
Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. FIELDING FUNERAL 
HOME, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Monday evening 
from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Sharp's Chapel Cemetery.

Ray will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
