THOMAS

Mr. Richard Bernie Thomas, a native and resident of Bogalusa, passed away Sept. 
26, 2010, at his residence, at the age of 52. 

Mr. Thomas was a carpenter by trade and a dear friend to those who knew him.

Survivors include his mother, Lois E. Sloan Bogle (Eugene), of Mandeville; two 
brothers, Charles Thomas (Melanie) of Bogalusa and Dennis Thomas (Janice) of 
Varnado; three sisters, Paulette Rankin (Jim), of Slidell, Lois Dillon (Gary) of 
Bogalusa and Lisa Amacker (Richard II) of Poplarville, Miss., and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Essie Thomas.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Brown McGehee Funeral Home, Bogalusa, 
with the Rev. Brent Carter officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Pleasant 
Baptist Church Cemetery.
