Willie F. Dirr passed away November 21, 2010. 

A native and life resident of Covington, he was born March 18, 1924 to the late 
Ernest J. and Minnie White Dirr.

He was the father of one son, David R. Dirr and is survived by three 
grandchildren: Carol Dirr, Candace Stockstill and Cynthia Meyers (Roger); 12 
great grandchildren: Tony, Amanda and Stephen Beal, Trey and Amber Stockstill, 
Kay and Marie Morse, Danielle Meyers, Grace, Nick, Andrew and Emma Wanner. He is 
also survived by 2 great-great granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his 
sister, Virgie Mae McCance and one brother, Ernest J. Dirr, Jr.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 
11:00 AM on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 
21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Saturday at 9:00 AM.

Interment and military honors will immediately follow services at Pinecrest 
Memorial Gardens in Covington.
