FRANCIS THOMAS FARR, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2010.

Beloved husband of Terry Farr of Slidell, LA for the past 20 years. Father of 
Alice Farr Shotwell and son-in-law James Shotwell of Memphis, TN, James F. Farr 
and daughter-in-law Glenda Farr of Casper, WY. Step-father of Charles M. Harris 
of Mesa, AZ and grandfather of Kaylie Harris of Mesa, AZ.
Also survived by other siblings.

Age 64 years; a native of Cranston, RI and a resident of Slidell, LA since 1995, 

Fran was a retired Senior Chief Aviation Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy 
where he proudly served for 28 years. He served during the Vietnam Conflict and 
Operation Desert Storm. After his retirement he worked for the Defense 
Information Systems Agency (DISA) in Slidell, LA. Fran was the Past Regional 
President of the South Central Fleet Reserve Association. He was the 
Secretary/Treasurer of the Slidell Branch 222 of the Fleet Reserve Association. 
Fran was a member of the Slidell Masonic Lodge F.& A.M. No. 311, the Board of 
Directors of the Slidell Little Theatre, the American Legion Post 374, Slidell, 
LA, the Disabled American Veterans Assoc. and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at THE 
SLIDELL LITTLE THEATRE, 2024 Nellie Dr., Slidell, LA 70458 on Saturday, December 
4, 2010 from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Memorial services will begin at 12:00pm. A 
gathering in honor of Fran will follow the services in the lobby of the theatre.
