Beloved wife of 64 years to Joseph Rene Martin. Loving Mother of Daniel James Martin and the late John Robert Martin. Mother-in-law of Karen Carbon Martin. Daughter of the late Felix Viosca and Alice Baudean Viosca. Sister of Robert Viosca and the late Randal Viosca and Jerry Viosca. Fay is survived and fondly remembered by her three grandchildren, Colin Daniel Martin, Brian David Martin, and Erin Leigh Martin. A native of the Lakeview area in New Orleans, Louisiana for many years and later retired to Mandeville, Louisiana with her husband, where she resided for the past twenty-five years. She was a graduate of McMain High School and Maben Business College. In her early years, she was an employee of The Westinghouse Corp. and later retired in 1986 after thirteen years of service from the United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals where she served as Deputy Clerk of Court and was Judicial secretary to Judge Brown and to Judge John Minor Wisdom. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Fay's life at her home on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Fay was a self-taught linguist of the French language and enjoyed reading, writing and speaking French.
