Esther L. Poncet passed away November 23, 2010. She was born August 21, 1919 in 
Springfield, LA to the late Eugenia F. Kemp and Robert Reid Hutchinson and was a 
resident of Covington for almost 60 years.

The beloved wife of the late Alton J. Poncet, Sr., she is survived by one son, 
Alton J. Poncet, Jr. (Kathryn); two daughters, Lillian P. Merry (Dan) and Jo Ann 
P. Tarantino (Frank); one sister, Marie Sizelove; eight grandchildren; 10 great 
grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. 

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Frankie Tarantino.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial mass at 
11:00 AM on Monday, November 29, 2010 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 
21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Monday at 9:00 AM.

Interment will be private.
