A native and life resident of Covington, he was born December 1, 1988. He was loved and cherished by his father, Dr. Richard Jerome Sanders, Jr.; his mother, Anne Baggett Sanders and was the step-son of Dr. Julie Lawrence Sanders. Three sisters: Jaymi Lynn Johnstone, Rachel Elizabeth Sanders, Victoria Anne Sanders and one brother, Thomas Cooper Sanders also survive him. The grandson of Dr. Richard Jerome, Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth Sanders, Jerry Lee Baggett, Sr. and Louise Beatrice Monju, he is survived by countless caring aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A private ceremony celebrating Dickie's life will be held at his family's home in Waldheim on his birthday, December 1st. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jane de Chantel Catholic Church, 72040 Maple St. Abita Springs, LA 70420.
