Edward "Pop" Alexander Allen Sr., loving husband of Rosemary Marchand Allen, 
passed away at his home on December 12th 2010. 

He was preceded in death by his youngest son Paul Gerard Allen and his parents, 
Walter James Allen Sr. and Lucille Lillian Duke; Father of Edward Alexander 
Allen Jr.(Tami) and Walter Charles Allen(Linda). Brother of Pauline, Nancy, 
Joseph, Walter James Jr. "Billy", Mary, Katherine, Jettie Ann, Alma Donna, 
Patrick, Charles and Margaret "Peggy". 

He is survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great 
grandchild, and many nieces and nephews who knew and loved him as "Uncle Eddie". 
Edward was born in Memphis, TN on February 17th 1931. He was also a long time 
resident of Slidell, LA, a Korean War Veteran and a retired S.I.U. Seaman. He 
will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him dearly.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 
St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA on Friday, 
December 17, 2010 at 12:00 O'clock Noon.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation at the church on Friday morning after 10:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Donations to V.F. W, preferred, in lieu of flowers.
