CURDY

Royal S. Curdy was called home to be with his Lord Nov, 8, 2010, at age 102. 

He was born in Chilliwak, British Columbia, Canada, Aug. 18, 1908. 

He is survived by his daughter, Ruthanne Johnson of Slidell; grandchildren Julie 
Kinkaid of Maple Grove, Minn., J. David Johnson of Minneapolis, Minn., Dr. Mary-
Alice Johnson-Olson of Anchorage, Alaska; grandson Elliot Henry Olson; nephew 
Jack McDowell of Gretna and brother James R. F. Curdy of Mattawa, Wash.. A 
memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Slidell, at the end 
of this month.
