James P. LeBlanc passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the age of 85.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth B. LeBlanc; son, John A. LeBlanc; 
daughter, Betty J. LeBlanc; and second wife, Theresa S. LeBlanc.

Survived by son, James P. LeBlanc, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Marilyn L. LeBlanc; 
granddaughter, Stephanie Gieger; great-grandchildren, Lauren M. Perez, Madison 
I. Perez and Benjamin C. Gieger; and step-son, Elliott Courtright.

Founder of American Legion Mandeville Post 414, a member of VFW Mandeville Post 
6640, the Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Society 
of the Founders of New Orleans, Society of the War of 1812 in Louisiana, Air 
Force Association and Naval Aviation. He was a Past Worshipful Master of the 
Masonic Lodge and a Past Wise Master of the Scottish Rite.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on 
Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. FIELDING FUNERAL 
HOME, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Thursday 
beginning at 9:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. LeBlanc be 
made to the American Cancer Society.
