Zachary Orlando Malter Sr., 47, of Slidell, passed away Sunday Nov. 21, 2010, in 
New Orleans. 

He was a carpenter and a member of the St. Geneiveve Catholic Church.

He is survived by his son Zachary Malter Jr., of Slidell; daughter Sascha Gynii 
Malter of Dallas, Texas; father, Morris Navarre Jr., of Slidell; five sisters, 
Michelle Malter, Melissa Navarre, Marva Kemp, Melantha Navarre and Precious 
Navarre of Virginia; five brothers, Quinn Navarre, of Houston, Dewayne Navarre 
of South Carolina, Rodney Navarre, Marcell Navarre and Danny Alexander of 
Slidell; special friend Shelia Freeman and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives 
and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Herbert L. Malter.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral services at 11 a.m. tomorrow at 
St. Geneivive Catholic Church, 58203 Highway 433, Slidell, with the Rev. Josˇ 
Roel Lungay officiating. Visiitation at the church will be from 9 - 11 a.m. 
Interment will be in Slidell Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Baylous 
Funeral Home.
