JOSEPH J. MILLER JR, age 82, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, December 
11, 2010, at Slidell Memorial Hospital.

Beloved Husband of Jacqueline Yaeger Miller; Father of Joseph "J.L." Miller 
(wife Jeanne), and Karen Miller; Son of the late Joseph and Ethel Miller;
Brother of Joyce Savoye (wife of the late Irwin) and Jerry Ingolia(husband 
Richard); Also survived by five grandchildren: Amy Uddo, Amanda Hall, Brett 
Miller, Cassie Morris, Jacob Morris, and five great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by one grandchild: Tracy Deering.

A native of New Orleans, and a resident of Slidell since 1964. He was a 23 year 
veteran of the Slidell Police Dept. who retired at the rank of Lieutenant. He 
was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Funeral 
Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST 
LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 1:00 P.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the Slidell Police 
Association, 41028 South 6th Street, Slidell LA 70461
